Homeopathy was developed in Germany by a medical doctor, Dr Samuel Hahnemann MD, in the late 18th Century. He found that conventional medications in the 18th Century caused serious side effects. This prompted Dr Hahnemann to dilute animal, mineral and plant products creating homeopathic remedies that stimulate the body to heal.
There are many clinical trials studying the use of homeopathy. These studies have appeared in various prestigious medical journals such as The Lancet and the British Medical Journal.
Conditions often improved with homeopathic treatment include infections, headaches, migraines, anxiety and skin conditions.
